Craft
Offices and housing, with a programmatic and ecological mix

Grenoble (38), France
A dense, mixed, bright and green urban project...
Craft is located in the ZAC (joint development zone) Presqu'Île in Grenoble, a large-scale urban project that contributes to turn a piece of the city into an intense and mixed metropolitan area. At the confluence of the Drac and Isère rivers, the Presqu'île is the new centre of scientific and academic excellence in Grenoble.
This city district, which covers more than 265 hectares, combines quality of life, economic performance, and academic and scientific dynamism, and is quickly becoming a central place to live and work in Grenoble thanks to a number of innovative real estate projects, new public spaces and a new mobility offer.
...in which Craft stands out by blending in with the surrounding landscape
Craft takes part in this mutation by appearing as a new type of flexible living space. It comprises 2 buildings (DP1 and DP3) which wrap around a central area of landscaped terraces. Private or shared offices, a complete and tailor-made service offer, divisible and flexible lots...

Agility is the order of the day in these open spaces, which are offered as part of the most flexible rental solutions. Exchanges are facilitated between employees and the various users of the site.
In terms of housing, the notion of capable volume and modular housing has been explored. The homes are designed in a grid pattern to allow customisation by the inhabitant, from a library of predefined elements, to fit their life scenarios. The buildings will also have shared terraces to encourage conviviality.
Energy performance and bioclimatic approach as fundamental components
The project aims to achieve a BREEAM "Very good" label for the office part and an RT 2012 -30% level for the housing.
